Dr. Panda is one of the best Cardiac Surgeons in the country and has performed over
8000 Heart Surgeries including over 600 second bypass surgeries. Dr. Panda has
pioneered the use of arterial conduit surgery on high-risk patients and Redo (several)
bypass surgery in the country. He is one of the safest Cardiac Surgeons in the world with
a mortality rate of 0.6% in isolated bypass surgery for last 5 years.
Under his leadership as Chief Cardiovascular Surgeon & Chief Executive Officer at the
Asian Heart Institute, within a span of over one year, the team is doing the highest
number of Cardiac surgeries in Mumbai, with the lowest complication rate in the country.
