from 48 hrs after surgery, but must wear a compression garment
from the immediate post-op period for 3 to 6 months. Gentle
massage of the operated area, gradually increasing the pressure
applied, helps to reduce swelling and helps to stimulate circulation
in the skin
Swelling can last for month, and the area may appear larger
before it recovers to the smaller size you desire. Three to
four days of recovery will be required before you can return
to usual work and movement, and after approximately a week,
light physical exercise should be acceptable. Please note

that recovery time will depend on the surgery site and size.
