Scar Treatment

Laser Rejuvenation
Laser scar removal can be performed with local anesthesia depending on the size of the scar area. A high frequency pulsating laser penetrates the skin of the scar and focuses its heat on the cellular layer. This heat destroys the cell layer and stops blood supply to the scar tissues which leads to the eventual reduction of the scar.

Several treatments two to three months apart may be required to remove all or most of the scar. The standard laser skin rejuvenation recovery process is minimal, but will include some mild discomfort which can be managed with oral pain medication.

The minimal risk linked to collagen injections is the allergic reaction to collagen, however, prior to your injection you will be tested for the allergy. There is no down time or risk involved in these treatments, however you may need several treatments to raise a very deep scar, and the results
