An important expense when it comes to your organ transplant is going to be your surgeon's fees. IndiCure recommends experienced, skilled, board-certified surgeons who are capable of delivering successful surgeries. The charges may vary depending on the experience of the surgeon, popularity, and the approach to treatment.
A significant portion of the overall cost of the surgery arises from the use of any customized surgical instruments or specialized computer technology. With the hopes of improving patient care, new techniques and technologies are often introduced to the surgical process. Such innovative advancements in the surgical approach can increase costs.
Having your organ transplant in an accredited surgical facility by skilled and qualified medical staff is a critical factor. Moreover, the geographical location of this facility also affects the quote. But, IndiCure provides you with a projected estimate that will be affordable.
The surgery-related expenses include the pre- and post-surgical expenses. The pre-surgical expenses are associated with the candidacy and the medical history of the patient. This also includes the routine medical exams and tests to ensure you're a good fit for the surgery. Post-surgical expenses may include prescription medications and follow-up consultations.
We at IndiCure, understand that you travel with a budget in mind and do not like to be greeted by surprises after arrival in India. We thus club all these expenses and give you the package cost that is all-inclusive and affordable at the same time.

Organ Transplantation Laws in India
Organ Transplant or Organ donation in India is strictly regulated by the Govt of India. Only close or blood relatives (brother, sister, mother, father, children or spouse) can donate an organ to the patient.
A special permission from the Govt. has to be taken if an unrelated person wants to opt for organ donation. If the proposed donor or the recipient or both are foreigners and are seeking organ transplant operation in India, a senior Embassy official of the country of origin or the government of the country concerned (authenticated by the Embassy concerned in India) has to certify the relationship between the donor and the recipient.

Organ Transplantation is the process of removal of the healthy, live and well-functioning organ from the body and transferring or replacing the diseased or abnormal organ with it in the same or different body.
In simpler words, Organ transplant refers to the replacement of the non-functioning organ with the healthy and living organ from the donor which can be a living or dead person or a cadaver.
Organ donors can be alive or those who died recently due to brain or circulatory death. The majority of deceased donors are those who are declared brain dead. The term "brain dead" refers to the loss of brain function, which usually occurs after a traumatic or pathological brain damage, or when blood circulation to the brain is cut off.
Organ transplantation is a serious surgery with possible hazards, which patients seeking a transplant should be aware of. The possibility of organ rejection is the main reason why organ transplantation is dangerous. Before deciding on an organ transplant, it is critical that you obtain all relevant information and discuss with your doctor.
You would need to take a NOC (No Objection Certificate) from your embassy before you proceed with your transplant surgery. You would also need to prove your relationship with the donor and produce quite a few documents before the transplant committee.

No, for kidney and liver transplant, you will have to bring a donor with you who is a close relative of patient. The laws in India do not allow the sale or purchase of any organ.
It is advisable that you come 2-3 weeks before your surgery in India. You and the donor would need to undergo a battery of investigations, besides the paperwork that needs to be completed before the surgery.
According to the Human Transplant Act of India, patients must have a blood group compatible donor from their family (donors must be between the ages of 18 and 65). Only once the permission committee has approved the donor may transplantation take place.

I recently traveled to Mumbai for a lower body lift and breast lift. As an American nurse living in Saudi Arabia I was apprehensive at first and did months of research. I chose IndiCure because of Dr. Jagannathan. I traveled alone and spent almost 3 weeks there undergoing 2 separate procedures. I was pleasantly surprised. The surgeries both went flawless. All of the hospital staff was amazing. Read Michelle Williams's Review About IndiCure Here
