How IndiCure Selects Partner Hospitals in India

At IndiCure Health Tours, we understand that choosing the right hospital is critical to patient safety, treatment outcomes, and overall care experience. Guided by over 15+ years of medical travel experience and the trust of 11,000+ international patients, we carefully evaluate every hospital before recommending it.

Through our below rigorous 10-Point Hospital Selection Criteria, we assess hospitals for accreditation, clinical quality, infrastructure, and commitment to patient safety.

The 10-Point Audit for IndiCure's Hospital Selection Criteria

Facilities must maintain active JCI (Joint Commission International) or NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals) accreditation hospitals.
Diagnostic labs must be NABL- accredited which sets national standards for testing accuracy and calibration.
Every 12 months, we re-audit accreditations, technological upgrades, and medical leadership changes.

Hospitals must have dedicated Centres of Excellence for complex disciplines such as Oncology, Multi-organ Transplant, and Cardiac Sciences.

Infrastructure must include high-precision platforms such as Robotic-assisted systems (da Vinci and Mako)

Provision of specialized Level III Intensive Care Units (ICUs), transplant-specific ICUs, and 24/7 emergency readiness.

Our medical advisors select advanced hospitals featuring paperless ICUs and fully integrated wireless clinical data systems. This digital infrastructure reduces transcription errors, keeps your care team working from current information, and makes the handover back home easier.

Dedicated international patient departments providing linguistic support, and specialized dietary services.

Strict adherence to international infection control, WHO surgical safety checklists, and transparent clinical outcome audits.

Access to advanced diagnostic centres like CT, MRI, Digital Mammography etc

Established protocols for post-operative monitoring, transparent discharge summaries, and remote follow-up for international patients.

Commitment to providing detailed, transparent cost estimates without hidden clinical charges.

What "IndiCure-Selected" means

Clinically vetted, not a paid listing: Hospitals are empanelled only after they pass IndiCure's 10-point Institutional Excellence Audit.

Built for complex care: Level‑III ICUs, hybrid OTs, advanced imaging, and specialty programs (e.g., oncology, cardiac, transplant).
International‑patient ready: English‑speaking teams, document support, transparent estimates, and structured discharge/follow‑up.
Ongoing re‑verification: Capabilities and accreditations are rechecked regularly so recommendations stay current.

Why Choosing the Right Hospital Matters for International Patients?

For patients traveling abroad, a hospital is more than just a place where treatment takes place—it is a critical part of your safety net. IndiCure's hospital selection process helps reduce the risks associated with the following factors:

Preventing Complications: Certified environments maintain strict infection control protocols and clinical checklists, significantly minimizing the risk of post-operative infections.
Ensuring Emergency Readiness: Major surgeries require robust Intensive Care Unit (ICU) infrastructure and 24/7 on-site emergency teams so that unexpected problems can be dealt with on site.
Reducing Diagnostic Delays: On-site advanced diagnostic equipment gives your surgical team current imaging and results before operating, which reduces the risk of planning on out-of-date information.
Securing Continuity of Care: A well-managed hospital provides detailed discharge summaries, which supports a clear handover to your local doctors once you return home.
Guarding Against Hidden Costs: Reputable facilities give an itemised written estimate up front, so you can see what is included before you commit. The final cost is confirmed only after the surgeon has assessed you.
